Worth watching.

We have one responsibility: to make ads that are worth people's time.
Because if a company is going to pay for people's time, we owe those people more than a sales pitch.
We owe them something that moves them. Something they won't forget. Something worth watching.

That means making ads that make you feel. That make you laugh. That make you remember. That means pouring love and craft into every detail. Every cut. Every frame.

To dream up concepts that inspire. That connect with people. That stay with people.
And then to do all the work — fun and painful — to make them a reality.

It turns out when you make things people actually want to watch, they watch them.

Behind the scenes of the Double Rainbow Microsoft commercial, 2010
Double Rainbow — where it all started.

Leão started by accident. In 2010, our founder Max Lanman made a commercial with the Double Rainbow guy for Microsoft. It went viral. Fast forward to 2017: Max made a commercial to help sell his then-girlfriend-now-wife's 1996 Honda Accord that took the internet by storm. It landed Max on an unplanned two-week press junket that included The Today Show and Good Morning America and culminated in winning the Webby for Best Viral Video, besting Jimmy Kimmel. It turns out when you make things people actually want to watch, they watch them. Millions of times. Leão grew out of that.

Over a decade later, the approach hasn't changed. The team who dreams it up at the start is the same team finishing it at the end. From concept to final cut: one vision, no handoffs, a whole lot of love, and way too much attention to detail. Last year, our Civilization campaign for 2K Games took home the Clio.

If you read this far, you get it. In the age of AI, anyone with a keyboard can write a prompt and buy people's time. We'd rather earn it.
